I feel like a new man. Literally. I can't even explain how unbelievable listening to this song is. Just do it, and as you do, read what Said the Gramophone has to say about it.
Utter bliss.
I haven't mentioned what's fantastic in awhile- everyone must be so lost on what to do. I can help:
Astronauts, beluga whales, Chad VanGaalen, dancing, elephants, farming, Great Gatsby, hammerhead sharks, indie-tronica, John jumping off things, karate, Loney, Dear, Mountain Goats, naps, octopuses, Panda Bear, question marks (?), respect, Stereogum, travel, ultimate frisbee, VICE TV, werewolves, (e)xistentialism, Zorro
Have a nice weekend.
I love Asaurus Records, I really do. They are my favorite indie-pop CD-R label. Everything they put out is pretty much golden. When I saw that one of my favorite Asaurus bands, the Capstan Shafts, released a new cd, I jumped on it. The Capstan Shafts is Dean Wells solo project full of indie pop goodness.
Her Versus The Sad Cold Eventually is fantastic to the max. I've been listening to it all day and I can't get over it. So do yourself a favor and get a hold of this 20 song, 26 minute, five dollar masterpiece. Do it. And if you're so inclined, listen to thistrack, The Trilateralist Told You Not To:
So last Sunday Ryan and I ventured into Ybor City to see Harry and the Potters and Someone Still Loves you Boris Yeltsin. Rather than tell you why the show was fantastic, I'm going to quote Paul DeGeorge (Harry, Year 7): "So Voldemort and Death Eaters aren't that fun to hang out with. Because Voldemort throws killing parties. But here in Ybor City, you don't throw killing parties, you throw killer parties!" While Ybor City may be tres speedy, it is Harry and the Potters that throw such killer parties.A fucking fantastic show, make it a point to see them live.
Don't even try to tell me otherwise.

Not to be too personal here, but this is a fantastic thing.
What with the holidays fast approaching and the need for a good gift at an all-time high, I can personally say that these slippers might be the most fantastic thing I have ever worn on my feet. I kid you not. You'll be wanting to pick up a pair of slippers. Any kind will do, just get them for you or someone you love. A lot.
That's not its real name, but I like to call it that. Regardless, it is
fantastic electronic music, and the kids say that it was pretty popular
among Norweigan DJs. Nice. If you can figure out what I'm talking about
(not that I'm particularly interested in you finding out), go ahead and
do yourself a huge favor and pick it up. It's worth it beyond belief.
There might be a video floating about of Sam and me dancing to a
certain track too.
